Livemocha wishes you and yours a very
happy Thanksgiving.
Tomorrow, friends and family all over the United States will be gathering for a feast, enjoying each other’s company, and giving thanks – and probably watching some college football – in observance of Thanksgiving. We wanted to let you know that, in observance of the holiday, the Livemocha offices will be closed from Thursday, November 28th through Sunday, December 1st. We’ll be back and ready to help you on Monday, December 2nd.
What is Thanksgiving?
This American holiday began in 1621, and, like many holidays that are based on an historical event, it has many stories around it – some good, some bad – but at the core of the holiday is the celebration of the autumn harvest, friendship, and giving thanks for the things that we are fortunate enough to have. Filled with tradition – and a lot of turkey – it’s a day to relax, feast, and share with loved-ones.
And where you’re from?
